Dyatt Smathers takes another great picture.
This is my favorite.
A little bit further and the view South has opened up.
We finally see Ross Lake elevation 9,675 feet.
(N 43.388336 W 109.657128)
Ross Lake sits below Shale Mountain and Ram Flats.
The continental divide runs just behind the top of
Ram Flat(12,200 feet). Ram Flat can be seen sticking up
above everything else just left of center. We did not know
it, but there were millions of mosquitoes waiting for
us to cross that field/swamp.
