This is Dyatt Smathers standing above Lake Louise. Behind Dyatt are the Ram Flats that sit above Ross Lake. Look at the load Dyatt is carrying. Still he smiles like a mule eating briars. We called him 'mule train Smathers'. That's a canvas tarp on top of his pack. He's not carrying some lightweight sissy nylon tarp. Don't mess with 'mule train'. Did you notice I managed to get my backpack in this shot?
